Plastisol: Used in the majority of screenprinting applications, plastisol inks are durable and can be matched to any colour.
Full Color Images: The process we use at HSI Promotions to separate full-colour images is different than standard CMYK separations. Our process allows for vibrant colours and consistent prints from shirt to shirt on either light or dark fabric.
Gel: Gel inks are formulated to create a "wet" appearance even when they are dry. They can be used as clear or can be colour-tinted.
Sublimation: Sublimation is used for printing on white or light polyester fabric. It creates a print where the ink has actually dyed the fabric.
Foil: At HSI Promotions, we offer standard and inline foil applications. We have many colors and effects to suit your project needs.
High Density: High Density inks allow for a sharp-edged, raised print creating a 3D effect. Height and color can vary depending on your project needs.
Nylon: Nylon inks are used to print on difficult synthetic substrates.
Reflective: Reflective ink has embedded glass beads, so light refracts back to your eye. It can print as a stand-alone color or a clear top-coat over an image to create reflective highlights. Clear reflective laminating to a colored adhesive provides a higher reflectivity in the image.
Athletic: Athletic ink allows your print to adhere and stretch on specialty fabrics. Ideally it is used on sports jerseys, industrial wear and other types of athletic wear.
Tansfers: Heat transfers come in a variety of formats. We offer multicolor hot splits and high-stretch, cold peel adhesive back transfers for light and dark fabrics. Can be used in applications where direct screening is better suited to a transfer application. ie: dyed polyester fabrics (where dye migration is a concern), over seams and zippers, for outer logos and care/content labels.
Oversize: This oversize format allows for images to print 36" x 96"
Water Base: Waterbase inks are used to print on light and dark fabrics. A soft hand is the main benefit where large, solid images are required. This process dyes the material, leaving the fabric breathable.
Discharge: Discharge printing is a process where the dye in the fabric is removed. Color can then be added back into the area that the dye has been removed from the garment.
Puff: Puff inks differ from high density, in that the image will have a 3D appearance with soft, round edges.
Heat Press Labels: Printed Outer Labels & Inner Care Labels: Outer transfer labels can be produced in small or large quantities and pressed anywhere on to your garment, at the sewing factory or here. Care and content labels with brand identity are ideal as an alternate solution to sew-in tags.
Sewing: Our sewing department is able to change out your generic tee labels for custom ones! We can replace the neck labels on your tees and/or add custom tags to outerwear.
Finishing: We have a complete department dedicated to finishing your projects, whether your garments require: folding, tagging, hangering or barcoding.
